Andrew Heller Releases Christmas Wonder CD

(Austin, TX…November, 2004) Andrew Heller has released the Christmas Wonder CD and is receiving wide spread airplay in the Austin region. The CD, produced by Eric Paul, features the powerhouse tenor of Andrew Heller, an acclaimed and sought after performer. Recorded in Austin, Tx. the CD includes such musicians as Riley Osbourn, Larry Chaney, Chris Maresh and Dony Wynn, and arrangements by John Mills and David Angerman. Christmas Wonder was recorded at Cedar Creek Studio with additional recordings at Pedernales Studio, Clearmix Studio and Bismeaux Studio. Mary Ann Heller was the director.

Christmas Wonder features favorites from Sleigh Ride and Do You Hear What I Hear, to I’ll Be Home for Christmas and Winter Wonderland. This CD is destined to become an all time Holiday favorite that features favorite songs of everyone. The CD is available through Heller Records, 512-263-1666.

Andrew Heller to Perform at 11th Annual Fine Wine Dinner & Auction

(Austin, TX) Andrew Heller, Austin’s famed tenor, will serenade the guests of the 11th Annual Fine Wine Dinner & Auction on February 19, 2006 at the Four Seasons Hotel.

Hosted by the Women’s Symphony League of Austin and the Austin Symphony Orchestra Society, “Here’s Looking at You, Kid” An Evening at Rick’s, will honor Chuck Huffaker and Steve Savina of Grape Vine Market.

The black tie event will begin at 5:39pm with aperitifs, hors d’oeuvers and silent auction bidding. The 6:30 six course dinners will be prepared by Austin’s celebrity chefs, with the paired wines donated by Grape Vine Market.

Reservations are required, $225 per person

Andrew Heller is a classically trained tenor whose fourth CD, Broadway Love, has just been released.


Andrew Heller to Perform at McCullough Theatre

(Austin, TX.) Andrew Heller, powerhouse tenor and child protégée of Leonard Bernstein, will play the McCullough Theatre, January 25, 2006 at 8:00pm, as part of the After Five series. The three part series brings to you people who truly lead double lives, balancing extraordinary professional achievement with thriving musical careers. These mavericks weave their stories into unique performances and experience first hand the beauty of life’s delicate balance.

Heller is a local talent of Austin is a regular on the cabaret scene and a successful recording artist. His fourth CD, Broadway Love, has just been released and is available locally at Waterloo, Seaton Gift shops and the Four Seasons Hotel. His music is also Best Buy, cdbaby.com and amazon.com.

In his other life, Heller was the youngest ever appointed IBM Fellow and has helped pioneer Austin’s tech boom by serving as the guiding force for 16 successful start up companies.

Andrew Heller releases new CD, El Paso, a Tribute to Country Music

(Dallas, TX…July 28, 2005) Andrew Heller, a powerhouse tenor and sought after performer has released his latest CD, El Paso. The anticipated El Paso is a tribute to country music and includes such hits as El Paso, They Call the Wind Mariah, Ghost Riders in the Sky, Rawhide, King of the Road and more.

“The El Paso CD came about as a tribute to the song El Paso, a song I have loved since I was a child,” said Heller. “I can remember learning Marty Robbins songs to sing around campfires and at a theatre in Vermont called the “Playhouse” before my 10th birthday. Marty Robbins ballads were among the first to gain popularity in the Northeast and for me, started a love for ballads and folk music as well.”

About Andrew Heller:

Andrew Heller, has a background of training and experience that some can only dream about. The well-versed Heller has worn the duel hat of successful communication executive and well known and much sought after musician. To some the combination would be a recipe for disaster. Heller has stood the test of time.

Heller won first place at the coveted New York Metropolitan Opera Junior Auditions when he was just sixteen years old and had contact with musical legends that most could only dream of. He also studied with the head of the prestigious Long School of Music.

Heller’s background includes performances with the Philadelphia Philharmonic and numerous east coast Symphony Orchestras. He has performed at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City as lead tenor for Messiah, Christmas Eve Mass, Easter and selected wedding celebrations. Other musical venues include: Marble Colligate Church in New York City, Summer Stock in Connecticut and New York, and various Austin churches, including performances with the Austin Symphony Orchestra.

Heller has also performed at The Texas Bob Bullock Museum, Number 1 Fifth Ave., The Penthouse Club in New York City, Saks Fifth Avenue, various political meetings and the Four Seasons Hotels.

Andrew Heller has recorded three CD’s, Be My Love, Christmas Wonder and the just released El Paso.
